When you see the teal storefront you’ve arrived at
Kitsch! Kitsch is a little shop in the heart of Norfolk, VA, representing over 100 different Virginia makers, creators, artists, and crafters. They have everything from handmade jewelry and toys to housewares and art. Kitsch is also
the place to find great vintage goodies.
What makes this shop so unique is their passion to be part of the community. They not only offer
workshops, such as Textile: The Art of Felting, but they also host events. Their motto is,
Love Where You Live, Shop Local, Support Your Community.

Here’s a little message from the owner, Danielle:
My friend/business partner Christine Redel and I are not native to Norfolk, but have made it our home. We each have three children who go to the local public elementary school and we live within a mile of our shop. Christine's husband is in the Navy and mine works for the government/Navy. We are also the President and Vice President of our children's PTA and we try through the store, to give back to the community as much as we can.
Kitsch has been open for 6 years and is a women run business. Our passion is to carry all handmade and handcrafted items from the Southeast region, which includes Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Kitsch offers workshops and private events with our artists. We want to make “shopping local” fun and interesting. There is always something new and unique to find in our shop. Every month we strive to find new artists and new inventory to feature. You can find information about joining as an artist or the list of our upcoming events at kitschva.com
